Sending a thank you message to each and every new Twitter follower is not an easy task for us in our day to day busy schedule. But replying back to your new follower is a good etiquette. At least your new Twitter follower should deserve a ‘Thank you ‘ from you. But actually it is a one minute job if you exactly know how to set up a Twitter autoresponder for your new Twitter follower. Here is the funda -
1) Sign up for a free account at Socialoomph – https://www.socialoomph.com/
2) Login to your new socialoomph account
3) Add your Twitter account. Select Social Accounts – Add New Accounts – Add Twitter.
4) Enter in the details of your Twitter account user name and password.
5) Scroll down to the auto welcome check box – select Automatically send a welcome message to new followers.
6) In the “Send this message” text box enter the message you want to send. Put your signature or promo link.
7) Scroll down and select save at the bottom. You are done setting up your Twitter autoresponder.

My intention was not to mislead anyone rather to share the information on ‘ creating twitter autoresponder’ so that people can know there is something that can do it for them easily. Just a help to bridge the gap who are not aware of the fact that such service exists.
Socialoomph DOES NOT OFFER FREE autoresponder anymore! They charge for it as of 2/15/11.

In response to the first anonymous comment….. This short, informative article was worth writing. If someone googles “twitter autoresponder”, they’re unlikely to land at SocialOomph’s website. While they may provide a very good service, not everyone searching the web knows what service will offer what they need. This article bridges that gap. Thank you.
